Fastenal, a US based publicly traded company, is one of the largest industrial distributors in the world. We are a Fortune 1000 company and a member of the S&P 500. It was founded in 1967 in Winona MN. Fastenal currently has 15 distribution centers and approximately 3,200 in-market locations in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico as well as Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Fastenal's more than 1.4 million products consist of threaded fasteners (34% of 2019 sales) as well as a broad line of other industrial MRO supplies including tools, safety supplies, hydraulics and pneumatics, material handling equipment, janitorial supplies, cutting tools, welding supplies, electrical supplies and a variety of related value-added supply chain services. FASTCO located in Shanghai was founded in 2003 and it is the newest subsidiary of Fastenal. FASTCO's primary responsibilities include sales, product sourcing, supplier development, procurement, QA/QC and logistics on behalf of Fastenal Company.
