In November of 2016, ZincFive acquired PowerGenix who had been a long-time partner and Nickel-Zinc battery supplier to ZincFive. Together, the two companies are designing and manufacturing Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) powered by our Nickel-Zinc batteries manufactured in Shenzhen. The UPS systems are sold into the Data Center market and the Intelligent Transportation markets for battery backup systems. In the U.S. and around the world, self-driving cars and consumer’s data usage is driving these two markets to be the largest and fas**** growing. ZincFive has entered the market as the leader and is changing the battery world with the incredible capabilities of Nickel-Zinc (NiZn).
